Litchfield Man Accused Of Driving 100 MPH On Turnpike In Nashua
Mateo Hernandez was accused of swapping seats with a juvenile passenger after being stopped by New Hampshire State Police on April 5.

NASHUA, NH — A man from Litchfield is facing several charges after being accused of driving 100 mph on the Everett Turnpike and swapping seats with a juvenile after he was stopped.
Around 1:15 p.m. on April 5, a state trooper on the southbound side of the highway saw the driver of a Honda Accord recklessly operating the car, according to Tyler Dumont, a public information officer for state police. The car, he said, was clocked at 100 mph.

The trooper stopped the car and accused the driver, Mateo Hernandez, 20, of Litchfield, of swapping seats “with a juvenile passenger,” a report stated. He was arrested and charged with reckless operation, disobeying an officer, and operating without a license.
Hernandez was released on personal recognizance and is due in Nashua District Court on May 14.
