Longtime Nashua City Leader Brian McCarthy Dies
Nashua's Brian McCarthy, who served on the Board of Aldermen for 25 years, died unexpectedly.

NASHUA, NH -- Brian McCarthy, a Nashua city leader who served as president of the Board of Aldermen, died unexpected Monday. McCarthy served as an alderman for 25 years.
"Brian loved Nashua and was dedicated to the city," Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess said in a statement. "He accomplished a great deal during his years of service."
McCarthy worked on school construction projects and was "instrumental" in the city's purchase of Pennichuck Water Works.
