Man Faces Felony Charge for Theft of Perfume Bottles

Crime doesn't pay, and getting caught can stink – especially when it involves the theft of 34 bottles of perfume and cologne.
On May 10 Nashua Police arrested Robert Albini, 26, of 121 Osprey Dr., Portsmouth, for unauthorized taking or transfer, a class A felony, due to the value of the perfume, which exceeded $1,500.

On April 4, 2013, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Nashua Police patrol officers responded to a local business and learned that a male suspect took 34 bottles of various perfume and cologne bottles, valued in excess of $1,500, without attempting to pay for them before leaving the store. The investigation was furthered by detectives in the criminal investigations division and a warrant was issued for Albini.
A class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, exclusive of fines. Albini was released from the Nashua Police Department on $ 6,000 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on May 29, 2013.
