
Michael Vinagro, 24, of 6 Oak Ave, Peabody Mass., was arrested Aug. 15 by Nashua Parch, charged with domestic violence: second degree assault, domestic volence: simple assault and simple assault. Vinagro was arrested in Peabody, Mass., and he waived extradition to New Hampshire.
On August 13, 2013 a woman known to Vinagro reported to the Nashua Police Department that Vinagro had assaulted her during the morning of August 11, 2013 at a residence in Nashua. An investigation was conducted by the Nashua Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit. The investigation determined that Vinagro strangled the victim and punched her several times. The investigation also determined that Vinagro assaulted another female known to him around the same time. An arrest warrant was issued by the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court.
Vinagro is charged with Domestic Violence: Second Degree Assault (strangulation), Class B Felony, Domestic Violence: Simple Assault, Class A Misdemeanor (six counts), and Simple Assault (three counts), Class A Misdemeanor.
Vinagro is being held at the Nashua Police Department on $35,000 cash or cash surety bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division - Nashua Court on August 16, 2013. A Class B Felony is punishable by one to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. A Class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to a year in the County House of Corrections, exclusive of fines.
