Lozeau, Lowe's Lends Habitat a Hand

National Women Build Week challenges women to devote at least one day to the effort to eliminate poverty housing.

Mayor Donnalee Lozeau will join Lowe's volunteers and others May 3 for National Women Build Week, part of the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity project on Chestnut Street.

Lozeau, Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Leah C Shuldiner and 20 volunteers will work on the Ndayiragije and Bampakariyo families' new homes.

A ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Lowe's has donated $1.75 million to National Women Build Week, with a $5,000 gift card to more than 300 participating affiliates. It also has in-store clinics during Build Week.
