Memorial Day Parade, Closures in Nashua
Nashua City Hall and public schools are closed for the holiday May 26.
The Memorial Day Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 26, from Holman Stadium.
Parade-goers will march east on Amherst Street to Main and then south to Nashua City Hall.
City Hall is closed.
The Nashua School District and schools are also closed May 26 in observance of Memorial Day.
The Nashua Division of Public Works, Solid Waste Department, is closed Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day.
- The Four Hills Landfill/Nashua Recycling Center is closed May 26 and there will be no collections at curbside. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, when the Monday routes will be picked up. The schedule after that: Tuesday’s routes will be picked up on Wednesday, May 28; Wednesday’s areas on Thursday, May 29; and Thursday’s pickups will occur on Friday, May 30. Friday’s neighborhoods will be collected on Saturday, May 31. Residents must place all trash in garbage bags before putting the bags in the cart. Carts must be kept at least three feet from any obstacle, such as a mailbox, and at least ten feet away from vehicles parked at curbside. All containers must be at curbside by 6:45 a.m. on collection day.
