NASHUA, NH — New Hampshire State Police are investigating a crash in Nashua that took the life of a man from Merrimack on Sunday morning.

Just after 1 a.m., troopers, Nashua police, and Nashua fire and rescue teams were sent to the area of Exit 8, near Mile Marker 7.8, for a report of a single-vehicle crash, after being tipped off by a passerby who witnessed the incident. When they arrived, they found the driver of a 2019 Kia Sorento, Christopher Duval, 44, of Merrimack, dead at the scene after he drove head-on into a center median barrier, according to Tyler Dumont, the public information officer for state police.

The SUV was resting against the Tinker Road overpass, Deputy Chief Eric Tremblay of the Nashua Fire Department said.
