Motorcyclist Killed After Crash At Amherst And Capitol Streets In Nashua On Monday
The crash closed parts of Amherst Street for hours. This marks the 100th fatality in New Hampshire this year and the fifth since Friday.
NASHUA, NH — A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon after a crash with a car on Amherst Street at Capitol Street.
Nashua Police, Fire, and AMR ambulance responded to the area at about 5 p.m. and found a rider who was on the ground and unresponsive. CPR was in progress at the scene and continued while en route to the hospital, where the man succumbed to injuries.
Nashua Police Sgt. John Cinell confirmed the man, who is in his 30s, died.

Streets were closed around the crash and traffic was backed up for miles. The driver of the car remained at the scene and appeared to have no physical injuries.
The westbound side of Amherst Street remains closed and will be closed for several hours as Nashua Police investigate.
