Nashua Couple Arrested In Granite Shield Drug Sweep: Police

Nashua police accused Tammy Baker and William McKnight of selling heroin and fentanyl.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua couple were arrested Wednesday after police said they sold heroin and fentanyl out of their Shedds Avenue residence. Tammy Baker, 51, and William McKnight, 48, face a host of charges. The pair, who have had multiple past dealings with police, were arrested during the latest "Granite Shield" drug sweep, police said.

Granite Shield is a state-funded police program targeting opioid distribution in the city.

Police Lt. Brian Kenney said the couple were the target of an investigation into drug sales across the city. Officers recently obtained a search warrant for their residence and raided the place Wednesday with the help of Hudson police.
