Nashua Duo Charged In Mass. After Purse Snatching

Two Nashua men were arrested by Bedford, Mass., police after they allegedly stole a purse from a woman while she was putting away her groceries outside Stop & Shop on the Great Road in Bedford, Mass., according to Bedford Police Lt. Scott Jones. After a struggle, the two men took off in a black Nissan Maxima, but were stopped by a police officer near a Gulf Station gas station. After a search, police found the pair had stolen other items - including credit cards and a laptop computer - from a vehicle that belonged to a local McDonald’s employee, Jones said.
Michael L. Kelley, 38, of Nashua, and Aaron Meuse, 29, of Nashua,, each face charges of unarmed robbery and receiving stolen property worth more than $250.
