Nashua Fire Rescue Quickly Knocks Down Fire In Amory Street Apartment
Crews arrived to smoke coming from a multi-unit occupied building. The building was evacuated, and fire damage was limited to one unit.
Nashua, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue received a report of a fire inside a multi-unit building at 7 Amory St. on Friday, around 1:30 p.m.
The first arriving firefighters reported smoke showing and began to stretch hose lines. Ladder trucks were set up, and the building was evacuated and searched. Crews knocked down the fire by 1:43 p.m., and utility companies were notified to shut off electricity and gas to the apartment.
Adjacent units appeared to have smoke and possibly water damage; however, the fire damage was limited to the original unit.

Traffic was affected on Canal Street near the corner of Amory Street.
The Nashua Fire Marshals Office is investigating, there were no injuries to firefighters or occupants of the building.
