Nashua 'Granite Shield' Crime Sweep Nets 4 Arrests

Nashua police said the latest "Granite Shield" crime sweep netted individuals accused of crimes involving cocaine and marijuana.

NASHUA, NH — Four Nashua residents were arrested in the latest "Granite Shield" crime sweep, police announced Monday. The accused (pictured) were arrested Friday and charged with crimes ranging from selling cocaine to possessing marijuana with intent to distribute, according to Nashua Police Captain James Testaverde.

"These arrests came at the conclusion of extensive investigations into the distribution of illegal drugs in
Nashua," Testaverde said in a statement.

  • Thomas Abreu, 41, was charged with four counts of selling marijuana and marijuana possession with intent to distribute. He was released on $25,000 bond.
  • Jeanne Bettencourt, 33, was charged with cocaine possession and released on $5,000 bond.
  • Amanda Grazewski, 21, was charged with being a common nuisance and released on $15,000 bond.
  • William McNally, 61, was charged with selling cocaine and released on $10,000 bond.

All of the individuals will be arraigned September 20.
