Nashua Man Accused Of Strangling Woman
Nashua police said Sean McCullough was charged with second-degree assault.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Monday and accused of strangling a woman, according to police. Sean McCullough, 31, was charged with second-degree assault, domestic violence-related. He refused bail and was held in custody pending an arraignment.
Nashua Police Capt. Jonathan Lehto said on Monday morning, officers responded to a city residence for a report of an assault.
"The victim, who is known to McCullough, reported that McCullough assaulted her to include strangling her to the point she felt her breathing was impeded," Lehto said in a statement. "The victim sustained minor physical injuries."

McCullough will be arraigned Jan. 8 in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
