NASHUA, NH — A man from Nashua is facing multiple charges after being accused of wrong-way drunken driving on an exit of the Everett Turnpike in Nashua on Thursday night.
Just past 11:15 p.m., New Hampshire State Police received a report about a crash on the Exit 5 onramp. A man from Waterford, Maine, told state police dispatch a car drove into the UPS tractor-trailer truck he was driving, Amber Lagace, a public information officer for state police. The driver came to a controlled stop before the crash, she added.
“The driver of the vehicle traveling the wrong way on the highway was identified as Omer Landry, 45, of Nashua,” she said. “Landry was transported to an area hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries. There were no calls received reporting a vehicle traveling the wrong way until the crash occurred.”
