NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man charged with a host of crimes after assaulting his girlfriend, who ended up in the hospital, police announced Monday. Corby Adkinson (pictured), 33, was arrested Sunday night. He refused bail and was held in custody pending an arraignment Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court.

Nashua police Lieutenant Robert Page said officers received a report Sunday at about 5:45 p.m. of a domestic disturbance.

"Upon arrival, responding officers made contact with a female who reported that her boyfriend, Corby Adkinson, had assaulted her, and broke several items within her residence," Page said in a statement. "This female victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for injuries related to this incident and released. Adkinson was located shortly after and was placed under arrest."
