Nashua Man Charged for Possession, Intent to Sell Pot

George Mwaura, 18, of 8 Superior Drive, Nashua, was arrested April 26 by members of the Nashua Police Department Uniform Operations Bureau, Problem Orientated Policing Unit for sales of a controlled drug, marijuana, second offense (four counts), a felony; and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute marijuana, a felony.

The arrest is a result of an investigation conducted by the Narcotics Intelligence Division into the distribution of marijuana within Nashua. With the assistance of the POP Unit a search of Mwaura’s residence resulted in the seizure of marijuana resulting in the possession with intent to distribute charge.

Mwaura was released on $50,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment on May 15, 2013 at the 9^th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
