Nashua Man Charged in Weekend Stabbing
The victim is still hospitalized in stable condition.
A Nashua man was arrested on Sunday in connection with a stabbing that occurred over the weekend.
At 10:44 p.m. Saturday, the Nashua Police Department was notified by Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center that they were tending to a 32-year-old male suffering from a single stab wound to the torso. Due to the severity of the victim’s internal injuries, he was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he underwent surgery.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation and determined the assault occurred in the rear of 32 Bridge St. in Nashua. Also through the investigation, they were able to determine that the suspect was Davian Torres Rodriguez, 22, of no fixed address.
On Sunday around 3:20 p.m., Torres Rodriguez was located at 38 Myrtle St. in Nashua and arrested. He is charged with first degree assault, a Class A felony, and was held at the Nashua Police Department pending arraignment in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
The stabbing victim remains at Massachusetts General Hospital in stable condition.
