Nashua Man Charged With Multiple Sexual Assaults Of Juvenile Female

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Monday and charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile female acquaintance on multiple occasions in a case that dates back to 2021, the Nashua Police Department said.

Angel, Ramirez 64, was taken into custody by the NPD's Uniform Field Operations Bureau, Patrol Division.

The suspect, whom police said had recently returned to the area after leaving the country during the investigation, was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault-domestic violence (pattern), a special felony, according to police.

A special felony is punishable up to the decided term of imprisonment, exclusive of fines, according to authorities.

Police said Ramirez was released on $3,000 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court South on September 29.

According to police reports, on Dec. 6, 2021, the NPD's Uniform Field Operations Bureau received a report about the suspect engaging in a pattern of sexual assaults against a juvenile female acquaintance. The alleged incidents occurred at Ramirez's home, police said.

The investigation was picked up by detectives assigned to the NPD's Special Investigation Unit, the department said. Based on the results of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Ramirez, according to police.

With the suspect back in the area, officers arrested Ramirez without incident on the outstanding warrant at approximately 5:22 p.m. Monday, police said.
