Nashua Man Tried To Pawn $1,500+ In Stolen Goods: Cops

Nashua police said Joseph Catanzano was arrested over the weekend.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested over the weekend after police said he tried to pawn more than $1,500 in stolen merchandise. Joseph Catanzano (pictured), 26, was charged with receiving stolen property, a felony.

"Officers responded to a local pawn shop for the report that someone attempted to pawn stolen property at the location," Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard said in a statement. "Catanzano was the suspect. Officers then located Catanzano, found that he was in possession of stolen property, and placed him under arrest."

Catanzano was arrested Saturday afternoon and held on $340 bail pending an arraignment Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
