Nashua Mom 'Truly Does Everything From The Heart,' Daughter Says

NASHUA, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?

The universe worked extra hard to make my mom. You get a different kinda feeling around her — a sense of security and belonging. She always makes sure everyone is included, even if it means she doesn’t receive anything. She is the woman who wakes up at 4 am to be with you when you’re having a rough night and just need a hug — and then [she] works a full shift. She won’t eat certain foods 'cause you can’t. My mom has sure been through the ringer a few times, but her personality has never changed. She really lights up a room and always gets the crowd laughing. She’s pretty funny … and when she sings. It sounds like she’s feeling what the artist was feeling. She truly does everything from the heart. I couldn’t ask for a better mom.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom is the definition of a source of sunshine. My mom always tries to make it a good time. I’m so proud and honored as a daughter to call her my mom.
