Nashua Police Arrest Man In Connection With November Hit-And-Run

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police announced they have made an arrest in connection with a hit-and-run last month that left three pedestrians with various non-life-threatening injuries.
Christopher Jimenez Delgado, 24, of Nashua, was taken into custody Wednesday and has been charged with three counts of conduct after an accident, which is a Class B felony, police said. A Class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in state prison.
Delgado was released on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Jan. 12 in Hillsborough County Superior Court.

According to police, at 11:41 p.m. on Nov. 23, Nashua PD officers responded to the area of 100 Main St. after a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle collision.
At the scene, officers discovered three pedestrians who had been struck by a vehicle while in the crosswalk, all of them were suffering from various injuries resulting from the crash.

Officers learned that the suspect had left the scene following the collision. But the Nashua PD did have a description of the vehicle: a Toyota Rav4 made between 2006-11. The department asked for the public's help in locating the vehicle and its driver.
The Nashua PD said detectives from its Criminal Investigation Division eventually identified Delgado as being the operator of the vehicle. Police did not say if detectives used information supplied by the public.
The department said it applied for and was granted an arrest warrant.
Members of the Nashua PD's Uniformed Field Operations Bureau arrested Delgado on that warrant on Wednesday, the department said.
