Nashua Police Identify Victim Of Monday's Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Edwin Hacker of Nashua died from injuries in the Amherst Street crash involving a motorcycle and SUV. Nashua police are investigating.

NASHUA, NH — Edwin Hacker, 30, of Nashua, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed Monday afternoon after a crash with a car on Amherst Street at Capitol Street.

Nashua Police, Fire, and AMR ambulance responded to the area at about 5 p.m. and found a rider who was on the ground and unresponsive. CPR was in progress at the scene and continued while en route to the hospital, where the Hacker succumbed to injuries.

The SUV driver was identified as Keith McDonough, 51. Police said he was not injured in the crash and was cooperating with the investigation.

Streets were closed around the crash, and traffic was backed up for miles.

The Nashua Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team and Detectives are investigating the cause of the crash.
