Nashua Police Identify Woman Killed In Crash That Injured Four Others
Humera Banu, 46, died at the accident scene on Tinker Road Saturday morning. Police say all six occupants were family members.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR, and police responded to Tinker Road Saturday for a report of a single-vehicle accident with multiple people injured.
Responders arrived at the scene at about 6 a.m. and found a BMW on its roof into the wood line with heavy damage and several trees knocked down in the crash. Additional resources were sent to the scene by AMR due to the number of occupants in the vehicle. There were six occupants inside the BMW SUV at the time of the crash according to Nashua Police Public Information Officer John Cinelli.
Police have identified the victim as Humera Banu, 46, who was the passenger in the vehicle and died at the scene. Four people were transported to the hospital by AMR with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. One other in the car was uninjured, according to Sgt. Cinelli.

A family member said Banu was visiting family in the area and was from India. According to police and the family, all the people in the car were related and were expected to make a full recovery from injuries sustained.
One source indicated the vehicle had luggage in the back and was en route to the bus terminal, which is close to where the accident occurred.

The vehicle appears to have left the road while entering into a sharp turn between Biscayne Parkway and Monza Road. When leaving the road, the SUV traveled into the wood line, breaking several trees and resting on its roof.
Nashua Police investigators closed the road for several hours and the accident reconstruction team remained at the scene until mid-afternoon. Investigators could be seen using a drone to take photos of the scene and take measurements. The medical examiner arrived and the victim was transported to a local funeral home.
