Nashua Police Investigating Shooting Incident
Police were on Main Street near Canal and on Terrace Street investigating an incident which was dispatched as a shooting.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua police continue their investigation at multiple locations in Nashua after a reported shooting incident.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., an officer safety bulletin was put out in several towns for a request to locate a green Ford Focus with two occupants accused of being involved in a shooting incident in downtown Nashua. The vehicle was reported to be registered to a person from Manchester.
At 5:35 p.m., Nashua Fire, and AMR ambulance were dispatched to the area of Main and Canal streets to assist a shooting victim.

Police quickly surrounded the area with several cruisers on both sides of Main Street. Crime scene tape was put up on the west side of the street, cordoning off a large area. A person suffering from a wound to the foot area was bandaged up while sitting on the curb of the east side of Main Street. The wounded person refused to be transported to a hospital.
A unoccupied green Ford Focus with both doors open sat on Main Street in front of Peddlers Daughter, a pub, while a police officer stood by the vehicle. The plate and description of the vehicle matched the one put out earlier in the officer safety bulletin.

The injured male, after an extended time, was patted down and was placed in the back of a cruiser without handcuffs indicating he was not under arrest or being taken into custody. A woman was also transported from the scene in a cruiser.
A tow truck arrived to the scene on Main Street and loaded the green Ford Focus onto a flatbed truck and removed it from the scene with a cruiser following the tow truck.
Reports came in of police at an address on Terrace Street with cruisers in front of the house but no crime scene tape securing the area. A short time later, cruisers pulled up with the injured male who limped inside, and the woman entered the house moving some children to a neighbors house.
Nashua police detectives entered the apartment and eventually came outside with some items which were photographed. After a short time all cruisers left except one which remained on Terrace Street.
At 8 p.m., three Nashua cruisers remained on the west side of Main Street at the area surround by crime scene tape. No activity was occurring inside the taped off area.
