Nashua Police: Accidental Gun Discharge Injured 2 Men: Video
Police, Fire, and AMR responded to Chestnut Street for a report of 2 men shot Friday; investigators say a single bullet injured both men.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua Police, Fire, and two AMR Ambulances responded to Chestnut Street near Central for a report of two people with gunshot wounds on Friday.
Nashua police arrived and began to treat two victims at about 9:45 p.m. who were on the sidewalk near a pickup truck. When Nashua Fire Rescue and AMR arrived, they took over the medical treatment while officers cordoned off the street with crime scene tape.
Police say that their investigation found that two men were injured by an accidental discharge of a firearm while inside a vehicle. The single discharged round struck two people seated within the vehicle.

The injured men were transported to a local hospital with what police describe as non-life-threatening injuries.
Nashua Police Lt. Scott Hudon said investigators determined there was no danger to the public and the shooting was an isolated incident. All people involved are cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing, he added. Hudon said there have been no arrests in the incident.

Police closed a portion of Chestnut Street while they investigated the incident, and the street has reopened.
