Nashua Teen Accused Of Stabbing Over Yeezy Sneakers
Police said Dequan Hagen stabbed a teenager and stole a pair of expensive Yeezy sneakers, the shoes designed by Kanye West and Adidas.

LOWELL, MA— A Nashua teenager remained jailed Monday after police said he stabbed another teenager over a pair of Yeezy sneakers. Dequan Hagen, 19, faces a host of charges. The victim was seriously injured, police said.
Tyngsborough Police Chief Richard Howe said Hagen drove to a Frost Road residence in that town Jan. 3 and met a 17-year-old to potentially buy the expensive and popular sneakers, designed by Adidas and Kanye West. Instead, Hagen stole the sneakers, stabbed the teen in the stomach and fled the scene, according to Howe. Police issued a warrant for Hagen's arrest and he turned himself in.
Hagen was charged with armed robbery, home invasion, two count of assault and property destruction. He was ordered held without bail following a hearing last week in Lowell District Court. His next court appearance is Feb. 11.
