About GOFERR Tuition Assistance

The GOFERR funds can be used for tuition and academic fees. If students have other forms of tuition assistance, such as Pell grants, Unique grants, or other types of aid, they can use them to cover other costs of attendance or tuition and fees beyond what the GOFERR grant will cover.

Who is eligible?

Recipients must be residents of New Hampshire, must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to Nashua Community College, even if you do not qualify for other federal educational assistance such as Pell grants, and also complete an application for the GOFERR grant.

Having a FAFSA on file at the college is an eligibility requirement for receiving funds.

The recipient must have experienced a financial loss or increase in expenditures related to COVID-19, between March 1 and August 31, 2020, for which they did not receive other COVID-19 assistance.

Fall 2020

The Fall 2020 term begins Monday, August 31 with online and on-campus learning. Students can choose their own pace with 8-week or 16-week classes. Explore NCC’s Workforce Development programs such as the Microelectronics Boot Camp and Microsoft Training and Certification.
