New Hampshire Theatre Awards Announces New Board

NHTA is ready for a 12th year of promoting the arts in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Theatre Awards (NHTA) Board of Directors have elected two interim officers into their officially assigned positions. Matthew Gregg, NHTA’s Co-Founder, moves from Interim President to President, and Interim Executive Director, Bob Frasca, will now serve as Executive Director. Together, the two gentlemen will perpetuate the NHTA’s mission to support professional and community theaters all over the state.

"I am extremely excited to serve in this role. In 2001, Rick Broussard and I created the Awards for the task of preservation and growth of the performing arts community in New Hampshire, and I am excited to see where leadership has taken it throughout the years. In order for us to fully realize our mission, it is my hope that we generate new methods and ideas outside of our Awards event to help our craft grow and thrive," Gregg said.

In addition to Gregg and Frasca, the NHTA Board includes: Secretary Katie Collins; and Treasurer Rick Broussard. Also actively involved with the group are John Campanello, Gina Carballo, Morgan Murphy and Scott Brodsky.

Currently, the position of Vice-President is open, and a search committee is screening candidates to fill it.

“We are nearing our12th Award season, and this year we plan to grow our organization even further. Earlier this year, for our eleventh season, we moved to a new venue, The Stockbridge Theater in Derr. This remains the site for our annual Award presentation production. The Stockbridge is one of the most beautiful facilities in our state, and we’re extremely excited about how this venue enhances the entire Awards experience for every one of NHTA’s member organizations," Frasca said.
