Pedestrian Dies In Nashua Kinsley Street Crash, Driver Of Car Arrested

Nashua police say the driver, Jason Fitzgerald, 52, of Nashua, was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI.

NASHUA, NH — A pedestrian died Sunday morning after being struck on Kinsley Street in Nashua.

Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR, and Nashua Police responded to the area of 189 Kinsley St. for a pedestrian believed to be about 50 years old who was struck by a vehicle, and CPR was being performed. AMR Medics and Nashua Firefighters rushed the person to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, where he succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.

Jason Fitzgerald, 52, of Nashua, was driving the vehicle and was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital for medical evaluation.

Kinsley Street was closed to traffic as investigators worked at the scene. The car had extensive damage and was in the street about 50 yards from where the pedestrian was struck.

Nashua Police Sgt. John Cinelli verified that Fitzgerald is being charged with aggravated DUI. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges could be brought forward at a later date

Nashua Police have identified the crash victim as Kurt Boutin, 58 of Nashua.
