Pet Adoption: Meet Ringo and Emma

The Humane Society for Greater Nashua's recent pets of the week:

Ringo

Hi everyone! My name is Ringo and I am an eight year old Chihuahua mix looking for my forever home. Don’t let my age fool you, I still have a lot of spunk and I really enjoy playing with other dogs. I’m told that my hair is soft and that I have adorable “radar ears”. I would love to go home with a family that has older kids who will play with me and take me for walks. The staff tells me I am very good on the leash. I promise I’ll be very loyal and snuggle with you every day when I come home. My favorite food is canine cookies and I wouldn’t mind if my new human spoils me with them. Please come meet me and see how cute I am! Like all the pets at HSFN I am fixed, micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccines.

Emma

Hello! My name is Emma and I am a 7 year old long-haired kitty. I am an independent, low-key girl but still enjoy being petted. I don’t mind being picked up, but I would prefer if you let me enjoy my kitty bed if you find me there. I’ve lived with a dog before and don’t mind if my new family has one. I prefer a quiet environment where I can spend my days in a cat tree looking out the window. I would do best in a home with adults and older children only. I enjoy being groomed and my new humans will have to groom me a lot because of my long hair. Please come and see how pretty and friendly I am today! Don’t forget, all new adopters receive a FREE first Vet visit to your choice of 16 area vets.

Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shelter is closed every Wednesday.
