Taxi Driver Robbed at Knifepoint, Hudson Man Charged
Man charged after allegedly robbing a Nashua Taxi driver at knifepoint Thursday.

Kevin R. Dumont, 26, of 18 Hilindale Drive, Hudson, was arrested Aug. 1 at about 8 p.m. by Nashua Police. Dumont was arrested at a residence on Summer Street in Nashua and charged with robbery, class A felony.
A Nashua Taxi driver reported to Nashua Police at approximately 7:50 p.m. Thursday that he had been robbed at knifepoint in the area of Concord Street at Orange Street. Dumont had been a passenger in the cab prior to the robbery. An undisclosed amount of money was taken in the incident. The taxi driver sustained no injuries.
After receiving the report Nashua Police patrol officers searched the area and received information that Dumont had run into an apartment building on Summer Street. They subsequently located him an apartment of a family member and took him into custody without incident.

Dumont is being held pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on 2 August 2013. A Class A Felony is punishable by up to fifteen years in State Prison, exclusive of fines.
