Teen Charged with Attempting to Rob Convenience Store

The 15-year-old boy threatened to strike the store clerk with a bottle.

A Nashua teen is facing multiple charges after he allegedly threatened a store clerk while attempting to rob a local convenience store on Sunday night.

Around 9 p.m. Sunday, Nashua patrol officers arrested a 15-year-old boy after responding to a 911 hang-up call at a local convenience store. Upon arrival, officers determined that the teen had attempted to get the clerk to open the cash register by threatening to strike the clerk with a bottle.

Police also discovered that the teen had been involved in an altercation earlier at a Nashua residence with people known to him while he was in possession of brass knuckles.

The Nashua Police Department’s Special Investigations Division was assigned to further the investigation. The teen was charged with delinquent child: robbery, a Class B felony; and carrying or selling weapons, a Class A misdemeanor. The teen was detained at a state facility pending a hearing.
