Welcome Class Of 2017

Another school year has arrived.

Summer is officially over at Nashua High School South, where students reported for educational duty Tuesday morning.

Technically, only freshmen were starting. But as is the school's tradition, upper classmen and the entire staff arrive a day early, to welcome ninth graders with style.

Freshmen got a particularly formal wake-up call, as Gov. Maggie Hassan stopped by to welcome them aboard.

Hassan urged them to work hard, try new things, and never give up, even when the going gets tough.
