Woman Charged with Felony for Alleged iPhone Theft
Amber Charland has two prior theft convictions.

Amber Charland, 26, no fixed address, was arrested May 7, charged with theft of an iPhone from another woman.
On May 6, 2013 patrol officers took a report of a theft of an iPhone in which Charland was identified as the alleged thief. The victim and Charland are known to each other.
A records check showed that Charland has two prior theft-related convictions which upgrades the pending charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, to a class B felony.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Charland was released after posting a $1,000 cash or surety bail pending arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
