Woman Charged With Forgery

On August 15, 2013 at 9:20 PM, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operation Bureau arrested Arielle Attias, 24, of 6 Dubonnet Lane Nashua, for two counts of Theft by Unauthorized Taking, a Class A Felony.

On October 17, 2012 members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operation’s Bureau made contact with the victim in the lobby of the police department in reference to a theft complaint. Information was obtained that a series of checks had been stolen from the victim, forged, and then cashed at two different banks in Nashua.

Upon further investigation by the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, the suspect was identified as Arielle Attias.

Each Class A Felony is punishable by up to fifteen years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Attias was released from the Nashua Police Department on personal recognizance and her arraignment at the 9th Circuit Court-Nashua District Division is scheduled for August 26, 2013.
