NASHUA, NH — A mother from Nashua was arrested on charges after a police investigation into drugs that were found to have been ingested by a child, according to police.

On Tuesday, Meredith police arrested Paige Goulet, 30, of Nashua, on a warrant for tampering with witnesses and informants, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child. Nashua police took custody of her later, according to Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department.

Cinelli said the Division for Children, Youth, and Families sent a report to police on Nov. 3 about a girl, 6, who had ingested a tetrahydrocannabinol gummy and was brought to the hospital.
