2026 Pro Portsmouth First Night Logo, Created By Marketing Director, Unveiled
Katelyn Souphakhot, development and marketing director at the Seacoast Community School, created the design; $15K in funding is needed.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The logo for Pro Portsmouth’s 2026 First Night event was unveiled on Wednesday.
Artwork by Katelyn Souphakhot, the development and marketing director at the Seacoast Community School, was chosen. The ice sculpture will return this year, following the completion of construction at North Church. It is the 31st year Jeff Day and his team have been creating the sculpture, Executive Director Barbara Massar said.
Massar said $15,000 was needed before the event to pay for the ice sculpture, fireworks, and police and safety details.

“We are able to attract and entertain not only our friends and neighbors, but people who travel from all over the country to spend the holidays with us, enjoy the city,” she said. “But in order to keep the event on the calendar, we need everyone’s support.”
Massar called the event vital to the city’s success as a destination for family, friends, and nights, from down the street to around the world.
