Holiday Card Writing Event: Spread Joy to Our Elderly Neighbors
Craft heartfelt, personalized messages full of joy and love to brighten the day of assisted living residents.
For the fifth year, the Alliance invites community members to spread holiday cheer by writing personalized cards to elderly neighbors living in assisted care facilities. We call our volunteers card-writing elves—and you can join them in brightening someone’s day!
As a card-writing elf, you’ll be assigned 9 to 13 residents, along with a fun fact about each one, to help you personalize your messages. We ask our elves to provide the holiday cards and write the heartfelt messages, and we’ll take care of the rest.
