Parking Shuttle Resumes In Portsmouth

To help people park and visit downtown Portsmouth, the shuttle from the Market Street church to Hanover Street has resumed for the season.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The Portsmouth downtown parking shuttle has resumed for the summer season. It is now operating through Sept. 2 on the weekend, connecting the Market Street church parking lot with the downtown Hanover Street bus stop. The shuttle service will be running every 10 minutes, allowing people to park and travel to downtown for free, city officials say.

The shuttle is operating Fridays 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturdays noon to 1 a.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. The shuttle is air-conditioned, and visitors will be able to travel from the church parking lot to the Hanover Street bus stop located next to the Hanover Street parking garage.

  • Portsmouth Market Square day, June 8, 7 a.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Portsmouth Halloween Parade, Oct. 31, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Portsmouth Holiday Parade, date to be announced, 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Portsmouth's First Night, Dec. 31, 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
