Three top condo sales on Maplewood Avenue, each above $2.4 million, helped push Portsmouth’s median condo prices to new highs, even as inventory increased and affordability concerns grew.

Portsmouth City Council, School Board Members, And Others, Take Oath Of Office (patch.com) — Portsmouth’s newly elected City Council, School Board, Fire Commission, and Police Commission members have officially been sworn in at City Hall, with Mayor Deaglan McEachern beginning his third term. Airport officials say the upgraded plow, broom, and blower system helps crews handle surprise diversions and tough conditions, so flights using Portsmouth can operate more smoothly during storms.
   

4. Gilley's Food Court plan revised. Public to get say in Portsmouth. (seacoastonline.com) — Plans to turn downtown’s iconic Gilley’s Diner into “Gilley’s Food Court” are back before Portsmouth’s Historic District Commission, with a public hearing giving residents a chance to weigh in. Revised designs add kiosks, public bathrooms, and updated finishes while trying to preserve Gilley’s working-class character and support broader upgrades to Newberry Way.
   

5. Monday Seacoast Roundup: STA boys hockey downs Seacoast rival, more (seacoastonline.com) — Portsmouth High track athletes turned in strong performances at UNH, with the girls placing second and the boys fifth in recent eight-team meets featuring Seacoast rivals. Local standouts included relay wins and top finishes in the 600, shot put, and high jump, giving Portsmouth fans plenty to cheer about alongside results from nearby schools.
