Police Called After Woman Steals Beef Jerky
The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Jan. 9.
Thursday:
- At 1:26 p.m., police reported a hit and run accident on Woodbury Avenue.
- At 2:02 p.m., police reported a theft of cash by an employee at a Market Square business.
- At 2:16 p.m., police reported another theft on Lafayette Road after the police say a man ran out of a store with $1,300 in cash.
- At 4:14 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman on Weald Road who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Shanna L. Hogan, 34, of 6 Weald Road was wanted for conduct after an accident, driving after revocation or suspension and possession of a controlled narcotic drug.
- At 4:30 p.m., police arrested a Rochester man after he was initially arrested by the Strafford County Sheriff's Department. Adam J. Montrose, 33, of 118 Jamey Drive was charged with criminal liability for another.
- At 4:38 p.m., police reported a theft at a Route One Bypass business by a female subject who stole some beef jerky on one day and stole other items from the store on another day.
- At 5:23 p.m., police reported that a male subject stole two iPhones from a Lafayette Road store.
- At 5:34 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Woodbury Avenue and Gosling Road. Lexus B. Reyna, 29, of 287 Maplewood Ave. was charged with theft (removing merchandise from the premises).
- At 8:14 p.m., police issued a summons to a Rye man on State Street for disorderly conduct.
