Police Probe Several Damaged Windshield Wiper Calls

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Jan. 2.
Thursday:
- At 7:14 a.m., police reported a theft on Daniel Street after the caller said someone stole his plow overnight that is valued at $2,000.
- At 7:14 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Durgin Lane after the caller said someone bent the windshield wipers on their vehicle.
- At 7:24 a.m., police reported a two-car accident on Market Street and I-95.
- At 8:52 a.m., police found more vehicles with wipers that were bent on Durgin Lane.
- At 9:50 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Woodbury Avenue after the caller said someone bent the windshield wipers on her car.
- At 11:14 a.m., police reported more damaged windshield wipers on Woodbury Avenue.
- At 12:22 p.m., police reported a license plate theft on Woodbury Avenue.
- At 1:05 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle versus a snow plow truck on Lafayette Road.
- At 3:20 p.m., police reported a burglary on State Street after the caller said someone entered her condo.
- At 3:37 p.m., police reported a two-car accident without injury on Grafton Drive and Route 33.
- At 4:48 p.m., police reported a second two-car accident on Grafton Drive and Route 33 without injury.
- At 9:20 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Ledgewood Drive after the caller said someone damaged his car window.
