Portsmouth Woman Charged with Stalking
The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest doe not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Wednesday:
- At 7:42 a.m., police reported a fight at a hotel room on Woodbury Avenue.
- At 8:25 a.m., police reported criminal threatening on Pleasant Street after the caller said he was receiving threatening messages on his Facebook page.
- At 3:55 p.m., police reported a car accident on Pleasant Point Drive after the caller said her vehicle was struck sometime overnight.
- At 5:03 p.m., police reported a simple assault involving a juvenile on Middle Road who spit at a staff person and slammed a computer on their chest. The juvenile was arrested and charged with two counts of simple assault and three counts of criminal threatening (intimidation).
- At 5:36 p.m., police reported a burglary on Shearwater Drive after the caller said someone may have entered her apartment.
- At 7:46 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman on Woodbury Avenue following a domestic incident. Lacey A. Leyden, 34, of 295 Cabot St., Apt. 1, was charged with stalking and violation of a protective order.
