AFP Hosting Healthcare Reform Forum at Local Restaurant
A "nationally recognized expert" and author will address questions from local residents and business owners.

Americans for Prosperity Foundation – New Hampshire (AFPF-NH) will host two business forums tomorrow with Avik Roy, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and writer for Forbes Magazine andNational Review. The forums will feature a discussion on the impact the impending health care reform law will have on businesses. The first forum will be a breakfast event in Bedford, which will be followed by an afternoon event in Salem.
“We are pleased to bring in Avik Roy, a nationally recognized expert on the implementation of the health care reform, to share his insight and address the many questions and concerns that may remain within the business community regarding the implementation of the health care reform law,” said Greg Moore, AFPF-NH State Director. “Our goal for these forums is to allow employers to obtain the latest information on the law and bring their queries for guidance to an expert on the health care reform.”

The AFPF-NH forums with Roy will include a breakfast forum at the Manchester Country Club at 7:30 AM and an afternoon forum at the Tuscan Kitchen restaurant in Salem at 3:30 PM. There will be a media availability after each forum.
“As the editor and lead author of the influential health care blog, The Apothecary, Avik Roy has established himself as an expert on the health care reform and has garnered respect from individuals on both sides of the debate. We are proud to feature someone with such credibility to address the myriad of unanswered questions that still surround the health care reform law,” added Moore. “We hope business owners from across New Hampshire will be able to join us for one of these educational events.”
