All Machines Used In Salem's Town Election To Be Tested
All Accuvote machines that will be used in Salem's March 8 Elections will be tested for accuracy this week.

SALEM, NH — All Accuvote ballot machines that will be used for Salem's March Town Election will be tested this week.
The AccuVote OS is a hand-fed optical scanner and tabulator that processes hand-marked paper ballots and ballots marked by the AutoMARK ballot marking device.
The AccuVote OS is most often used as a polling place tabulator but can also be used to tabulate absentee mail ballots.

On Thursday, March 3, all machines used in the upcoming election will be tested downstairs in the Knightly Meeting at the Town Hall at 9:30 a.m.
The process will test each Accuvote memory card and machine, comparing results to the hand count tally, and sealing the machine in preparation for Election Day.
