The Barking Bean Cafe to Host Soft Opening in Salem
Salem's newest business is located on Main Street.

A lifelong Salem resident will host a soft opening for her new coffee shop, The Barking Bean Cafe, throughout the day tomorrow.
The new shop is owned by Cassandra Schofield, who graduated from Salem High School in 2008. The business is just a short walk from both Woodbury Middle School and Salem High School at 163 Main St.
Schofield signed the lease for her location on Dec. 21. For her soft opening, she will be serving coffee/espresso, smoothies and breakfast sandwiches.

"We look forward to adding more breakfast options, baked goods, and lunch specials to our menu in the very near future," Schofield wrote in a post to her followers.
We featured a preview of Schofield's business in early January on Salem Patch. Learn more about The Barking Bean Cafe here.
