Common Man Reopens After Fire
The Range Road restaurant was closed for several weeks following the Dec. 28 blaze.

The Common Man in Windham reopened Thursday. It was closed several weeks following a fire last month.
The Dec. 28 electrical fire gutted the ceiling and roof of the popular local eatery. There were no guests inside the Range Road restaurant at the time of the fire due to the facility being open for dinner only. The chefs who reported the fire exited immediately and were unharmed.
The upstairs portion of the restaurant sustained water and smoke damage and fire crews had to cut holes in the roof of the building to get to the flames. An exhaust fan in the second floor bathroom was believed to have been the cause of the fire.
