Derry Man Charged with Assaulting Police Officer
A New Boston woman was also arrested on speeding and drug charges.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Thursday, Dec. 5
- 8:52 a.m.: A Barron Avenue resident reported that their shed was broken into and several items were stolen.
- 9:32 a.m.: An accident was reported on Stiles Road.
- 10:47 a.m.: Joshua R. Fields, 31, of 13 Swanson Road, New Boston was charged with possession of a controlled drug.
- 12:51 p.m.: Laurie Diane Fields, 32, of 13 Swanson Road, New Boston was charged with speeding 11-15 mph over 65 limit, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled drug.
- 2:27 p.m.: Tammy M. Baldassari, 48, of 6 Central St., Methuen, MA was charged with willful concealment, disobeying an officer, reckless conduct–deadly weapon and operating without a valid license.
- 4 p.m.: An accident was reported on South Broadway.
- 5:23 p.m.: A hit-and-run accident was reported on South Broadway.
- 5:54 p.m.: A Hampstead Road resident reported that his generator was stolen from his yard.
- 7:04 p.m.: A caller on School Street reported that his house was broken into and copper wire was stolen off the boiler.
- 7:23 p.m.: A caller on School Street reported a past burglary.
- 10:56 p.m.: An accident was reported on Mary Ann Avenue.
Friday, Dec. 6
- 1:23 a.m.: Jason Matthew Williams, 32, of 13 Strawberry Hill Road, Apt. R, Derry was charged with conduct after an accident, driving under the influence second or third offense, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest/detention, simple assault on a police officer and driving after revocation/suspension. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail.
