3. BRUINS KICK OFF 2013 CUP RUN: The Boston Bruins will kick off a seven game series against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at 7. The two teams are seeded no. 4 and no. 5 respectively.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1958, President Eisenhower proclaims Law Day to honor the role of law in the creation of the United States of America. Three years later, Congress followed suit by passing a joint resolution establishing May 1 as Law Day.

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem will again sell Discount Ticket Sheets this year. These sheets will sell for $20.00 each. Discounts for Canobie Lake Park, T-Bones, the Common Man Restaurant, Sports Authority, Bertucci’s Restaurant, Valvoline, O’Neil Cinemas, Weathervane Restaurant, Outback Steakhouse, Chunky’s Cinemas, Crystal Lake Golf Club and the Texas Roadhouse are just some of the local businesses that are participating in this fundraiser. Most coupons are buy one, get one free, $10 off or a free item with the purchase of another item which means that the coupon sheets pay for themselves with just 2 purchases! These sheets contain 45 coupons and online national discounts are also available once a sheet is purchased. Online national discounts include Six Flags, Southwest Vacations, PETCO and thousands more!
