'Excitement' As New Artisan Hotel And Tuscan Kitchen Opens In Salem

SALEM, NH — As the sun set in Salem on a recent October evening, guests were "filled with excitement" at the ribbon cutting that celebrated the opening of the new Artisan Hotel and Tuscan Kitchen in Salem's Tuscan Village.

The first Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel in New Hampshire, the 165-guest-room Artisan Hotel has a "modern vintage design aesthetic offering a dreamy and welcoming stay" with a full fitness facility and luxury pool, according to the Southern New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.

Other amenities at the hotel include a 12,000-square-foot banquet and event space, a rooftop bar, walkable restaurants and shops, and an upcoming entertainment district, officials said.

The Tuscan Kitchen is a full-service restaurant available to hotel guests, as is The Rooftop and Caffe.

"We love to support our local family businesses," the chamber wrote in a news release. "It is the best feeling to see them succeed and make connections in our community."
